Alcohol and Other Drugs:
Alcohol: Possession/consumption of beer or wine under 21

Alcohol disposed of

 

1st instance: Letter of warning, with educational information included in the letter (non-reportable).

 

2nd instance: letter of warning and education (such as online module) (non-reportable).

 

3rd instance: letter of warning and alcohol education (such as an in person class) (non-reportable).

 

4th and beyond: Meeting with a staff member from the Office of Campus Life or the Dean’s Office with warning and educational requirement (non-reportable).  Could lead to formal disciplinary process if warranted.

Alcohol: Possession/Consumption of hard alcohol under 21

Alcohol disposed of

 

1st instance: letter of warning with educational information included in the letter (non-reportable).

 

2nd instance: Meeting with a staff member from the Office of Campus Life or the Dean’s Office with warning (non-reportable).

 

3rd instance: Meeting with a staff member from the Office of Campus Life or the Dean’s Office with warning and educational requirement (non-reportable).  Could lead to formal disciplinary process if warranted.

 

4th instance and beyond: Formal Disciplinary process with actions ranging from disciplinary warning (not reportable) through suspension (reportable).

Alcohol or Other Drug: Intoxication or influence that results in a transport to the hospital

1st instance: Meeting with a staff member from the Office of Campus Life or the Dean’s Office (non-reportable), meeting with a Health Educator or other educational referrals, parental notification.
